Alexis L. Williams

Alexis L. Williams, LMSW, CASAC-T is a forensic social worker with Juvenile Rights Practice for The Legal Aid Society. Alexis holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Lehman College and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from SUNY Albany. Prior to joining the Legal Aid Society, Alexis worked in the field of child welfare for 6 years within the foster care, preventive (FFT-CW) and Bridges to Health sectors with various agencies throughout the Bronx including Abbott House, Catholic Guardian, and JCCA. Alexis began her position at Legal Aid in June 2018, after serving as a health care integrator with the Bridges to Health program at Graham Windham while simultaneously pursuing her MSW degree and completing fieldwork in the areas of child welfare (visit coaching and developmental playgroups) and substance abuse.
